📚✨ Mrs. Tanner wears many hats at Pottsville High School…and somehow manages to excel in every one of them!
As the head of the English Department, Mrs. Tanner teaches AP Literature while also inspiring one section of tenth-grade English students. This year, her AP Literature students achieved outstanding results, with 11 of 16 students (68.8%) earning a qualifying score of 3 or higher on the AP Exam. What an incredible accomplishment! 🎉
The success didn’t stop there. Mrs. Tanner’s sophomore English students also posted remarkable ATLAS results this spring, with 100% of her students earning a Level 3 or Level 4. That means every single student demonstrated proficiency at or above grade level—a testament to their hard work and Mrs. Tanner’s exceptional instruction.
And yes…this former Disney princess (literally!) and proud Pottsville graduate continues to bring a little magic to our campus every day!
Congratulations to Mrs. Tanner and her incredible students! Thank you for making PHS a place where high expectations, hard work, and a love of learning continue to thrive. 🖤💛

Thank you for supporting our Apaches! 🖤💛
These talented musicians got up bright and early to give our newest Tribe members a taste of Apache culture. From the first cadence to the final drumroll, they reminded us that being an Apache is about more than academics—it's about pride, tradition, and community. 🖤💛
Thank you, gentlemen, for helping us welcome our newest educators in true Apache fashion. What a great way to kick off the day!

Our dedicated group of musicians filled the high school hallways with the first notes of their new show, and the excitement is already contagious! From the practice field to the band room, these students are putting in the time, effort, and heart that will make Friday nights even more memorable. 🖤💛
A special shout-out goes to our outstanding directors, the volunteer instructors from area colleges, and the incredible parents who make Band Camp possible—especially those keeping our musicians fueled with great meals! ❤️ It truly takes a village to build a successful band program, and we are so thankful for the amazing community that pours into our students. We can't wait to see this year's show come to life!

Volleyball, basketball, tennis, cross country, football, and cheerleading are all hard at work preparing for the exciting seasons ahead. There's no better place to spend a summer day than with your teammates, your coaches, and your Apache family. 🖤💛 The sound of cheers and chants, coaches' whistles, clanging weights, and squeaky shoes on the gym floor fills this little corner of Arkansas with excitement and purpose. Every practice, every rep, and every encouraging word is building something special. We love our Apaches, and we can't wait to cheer them on all year long! ❤️
