#EASTCon26

We had the best time celebrating some of our PJHS Millionaire Readers with a special lunch at Olive Garden! These students read over ONE MILLION words this year, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and love for reading.🍝📖
And the celebration continued with Our big Reading Reward Party where over 250 students enjoyed ice cream served by an amazing team of Junior High parents and teachers who jumped in to help make the event special. A big shout-out to all the volunteers who helped scoop, serve, and keep the fun going! 🍦only pic I was able to take was before the kids came out & parents posed up for us!
We are so proud of our readers and grateful for the incredible PJHS community that supports our students and their love of books. More celebrations to come! 📚

PJHS Library Stats update! We have so many millionaires and there are more coming! #PottsvilleReads
8th graders used their problem solving and teamwork skills and Escaped today in the library with The Outsiders characters - "Nothing Gold Can Stay"

Clint and Patsy Hull lost their home of 50 years in a fire last Tuesday night. Clint Hull has served on our school board for 44 years and has been a steady, faithful leader in our schools and our community. Now it is our turn to show up for him and his family.🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛

Our 8th graders had a great time at our Be Pro Be Proud Career Day on Friday! Students learned about a variety of career opportunities including customer service, budgeting, skilled trades, state police careers, nursing, automation, and many more.
It was a day full of hands-on learning, exploring future career paths, and hearing from professionals in our community. We wrapped up the day with a cookout for lunch, which the students really enjoyed!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with our students and help make the day a success.
