My name is Shane Thurman, and this is my third year as the principal at Pottsville Junior High. Prior to being the principal at PJH, I was the assistant principal and head boys basketball coach for ten years. I am married to my wife Taba, and we have two children, Gabby and Trey, who are both attending UCA this fall.

Prior to working at PJH, I taught chemistry and Advanced Placement chemistry at Pottsville High School for eleven years. I am married to my husband Scott, and we have one son, Andrew, who is in 2nd grade this year.
